CERAMIC DESIGN WORKSHOPS

"SLAB-BUILDING" AND "HAND-BUILDING" WORKSHOP

Whether you are discovering clay for the first time or returning to it after previous experience, this workshop offers a relaxed and inspiring introduction to ceramics.

Together we explore the fundamentals of hand building, using techniques such as slab building and hand modelling. These methods are suitable for all ages and experience levels, allowing everyone to create at their own pace.

During the workshop, participants most often make plates, cereal bowls, mugs, vases, or serving bowls, although projects can also be tailored to your own ideas and interests.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy. Everything else is provided-from tools and materials to tea, coffee, light refreshments, and a welcoming atmosphere. All you need to bring is your curiosity and creativity.

POTTERY WHEEL WORKSHOP

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have previous experience on the pottery wheel. Because each piece goes through several stages of making, the workshops are designed as a series of at least two sessions.

During the first session, you will learn the basics of wheel throwing and create two or three pieces. At the following session, you will trim your work, refining its shape and finishing the details. Some workshop packages also include a glazing session, where you will learn how to prepare and glaze your finished pieces.

Working on the pottery wheel can feel challenging at first, but patience and practice are rewarded. It is a wonderfully meditative process, and each session builds confidence and skill.

Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting messy.

To ensure individual guidance, workshops are limited to two participants. Each session lasts 2 hours.
